NYC part two, the final post.
I worked on this post on the airplane ride home. We were very busy getting out of the house somewhere between 6AM and 9AM every day, coming home for dinner and then out again until 11PMish. We were exhausted but kept on ticking.
On Sunday we went to the Harlem ward with mom and dad and attended the temple prep class dad taught. We got right on the subway to the NJ train to Chatham NJ to visit my brothers. Davin picked us up from the train and we ate and ate and went home.
Monday Leah and I took Janell toJFK for her flight to Rochester NY to the YFE camp she signed up for. Leah and I visited some more places

Walked the Brooklyn Bridge, ate at Serendipity where the owner/cookbook author signed Leah’s book. We ate beautiful food there, these are some salads.
We tried to get into the David letterman taping and called 86 times to get tickets right at 11am, I didn’t know the trivia question (what color is the announcer’s hair), Leah knew but I didn’t ask her so we were # 27 and 28 and they let in everyone up to number 26 so we didn’t get in. We had to buy bagels before we left and went to a small recommended bakery. Leah wrote a list of what we did and saw in 11 full days. Our NY pass was good for 7 days and we saw and toured everything. We saw 5 Broadway shows and 1 Off Broadway.

Janell's Senior Send off.
Janell had her Senior Send-off where as a ward (church) we honor our graduation High School Seniors. She made a table display depicting important things in her life and had to stand by the table to answer questions. We were served dinner and watched a slide show honoring the 5 seniors and 5 senior citizens focusing on the 1940's when they were the same age as Janell.
Janell blew people away with her map showing all the places she had been, we made bite-sized lemon bars (drew in the crowd) and I made Janell wear her giraffe print sweater and shoes... Her favorite animal after going to Africa.
